CORRECTION: Matamec-Complete Results of its Recent Drilling Program
06/06/01 - VAL D'OR, QUEBEC--Matamec Explorations Inc. wishes to announce the complete results of its drilling program, conducted in March 2001 on its Sakami property, located 80 km south-east of Radisson, Province of Quebec.
Fourteen (14) holes totalling 2713 metres (8900') have been drilled following these parameters:

Two (2) other holes (6 and 14) have been drilled to test induced polarisation (specificaly chargeability and resistivity) anomalies but no significant mineralization has been encountered.
Several samples (32) were re-analysed at a different Assay laboratory (Chimitec-Bondar-Clegg in Val-d'Or) due to the presence of visible gold. The techniques used were conventional fire-assay with atomic absorption on 30 g sample and "metallic sieve techniques". Each laboratories (Bourlamaque Assay Laboratories Ltd and Chimitec - Bondar Clegg) gave the same results.
