Description
The choice and the purchase of that property were based on the results of a geochimical large scale regional survey. The survey report showed a high gold anomaly in a lake sediments sample which returned 764 p.p.b. in gold as compared with the 10 to 20 p.p.b. which are the basic regional values. The side limits of the property are such that the gold anomaly is located almost in the central part of the property. The nose of the western contact of a tonalite pluton is also present in the vicinity of the anomalous spot and this pluton might be the possible source of the anomalous gold values. A minimum of research work is planned for this property, with prospecting, sampling and geological mapping work.
